3 Lubbock-area basketball players named McDonald's All-American nominees
Monterey's Aaliyah Chavez, the No. 1 ranked player in the 2025 recruiting class, was named a McDonald's All-American nominee on Wednesday. Chavez is one of three players from West Texas area to be named a nominee for the prestigious teams. Joining her are Canyon Randall's Sadie Sanchez and Amarillo Palo Duro's Victor Juarez.
