CB Eric Allen, DE Jared Allen, TE Antonio Gates and WR Sterling Sharpe are the newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They will be inducted Aug. 2 in Canton, Ohio.

Gates, who caught 116 touchdown passes in a 16-year career spent entirely with the Chargers, is elected alongside defensive end Jared Allen, wide receiver Sterling Sharpe and cornerback Eric Allen.

Detroit native and two-sport star Antonio Gates was tabbed for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's class of 2025 on Thursday night in New Orleans.
