Nov 17 (Reuters) - Nvidia's (NVDA.O) new Blackwell AI chips, which have already faced delays, have encountered problems with accompanying servers that overheat, causing some customers to worry they will not have enough time to get new data centers up and running, the Information reported on Sunday.

Nvidia first announced Blackwell in March, as the successor to the hugely successful H100 GPUs that are used to power the majority of the world’s AI applications today. They’re said to deliver a 30-times performance boost versus the H100 chips while reducing energy consumption by up to 25% on some workloads.

Nvidia’s new Blackwell AI chips, which have already been delayed are now facing issues with overheating servers.As per Reuters, this has raised concerns among some customers to worry about enough time to set up new data centers.
