Dundee United have scored in 18 of their 23 games, only Celtic (20) have scored goals in more matches in the Premiership this season. St Mirren have failed to score in their last three games in the Premiership, their last longer run of games without scoring a goal in the competition was a run of five from 14 March 2015 to 13 April 2015.

There were a lot of fantastic performances for Dundee, but Adewumi was the best player on the pitch. Adewumi also had another fierce shot saved by Liam Kelly, and right at the end he was back in his own box shielding the ball out of play to get the result over the line.

Patrick: Even though Dundee United contained Celtic well, it never felt like we were in danger thanks to a really solid defensive performance. The players overall looked tired but got the job done nonetheless. Great to extend the lead to 16 points.
