On his first day in office, President Trump signed an executive order reversing 78 executive orders from the Biden administration

Philadelphia officials met on Wednesday to reinforce the city's responsibilities and policies on immigration, but also address the limits of their power in comparison to the federal government in light of recent executive orders signed by President Trump early into his second term.

The orders include declaring a national emergency to deploy military personnel to the border, suspending refugee resettlement and ending birthright citizenship.
