Lewis Hamilton has put himself “back into the game” with his move to Ferrari, the company’s CEO Benedetto Vigna has warned F1 rivals. The seven-time world champion has completed F1’s biggest-ever driver move by swapping Mercedes for Ferrari, where he will link up with Charles Leclerc for the upcoming 2025 season.

As the blockbuster transfer has been completed, Lewis Hamilton will drive for Ferrari from this season onwards. Piero Ferrari, the son of Enzo, is looking forward to seeing the seven-time world champion competing for the Scuderia.

Lewis Hamilton will link up with Ferrari for the first time today. Although the former Mercedes driver officially joined Ferrari on January 1, it is not until January 20 that he will arrive at Maranello. He is set to test a Ferrari F1 car this week - but not on Monday, his first day.

After a distinguished 12-year tenure with Mercedes, where he secured seven World Championships and 105 Grand Prix wins, Hamilton has switched teams for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
