PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Kevin Acklin has resigned as the president of business operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times. The announcement was made by Teddy Werner, Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations at Fenway Sports Management, at the 2025 Night of Assists Gala at Rivers Casino.

Teddy Werner, a partner at Fenway Sports Group, the ownership group of the Penguins, as well as senior vice president, strategic operations for Fenway Sports Management, made the announcement that Kevin Acklin would be leaving the team. The announcement came at the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation’s 2025 Night of Assists Gala at Rivers Casino.
