Police in a Massachusetts city say a man was arrested on suspicion of intentionally setting brush fires during a time of dry conditions that have led to blazes throughout the Northeast

These Red Flag Warnings for fire have been given for all of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, as well as parts of Vermont and New Hampshire. According to the National Weather Service (NWS), Red Flag Warnings are given when there is either a currently ongoing wildfire or fire conditions are expected to occur in the next 24 hours.
