Republican Rep. Nancy Mace said Tuesday that the bill she introduced to ban transgender women f rom using biological women's restrooms at the U.S. Capitol was "absolutely" in response to Rep.-elect Sarah McBride's entering Congress.

The South Carolina Republican said that her resolution is “absolutely” in response to Sarah McBride’s election to the House, while Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said it “doesn’t go far enough.”
