The Las Vegas Raiders (2-8) have lost six in a row. The Miami Dolphins topped the Raiders on Sunday 34-19 in a game that played out closer than the final score indicates.

Many people look back on the way the Raiders won three of their final four games a year ago as the reason Antonio Pierce was promoted from the team’s interim to full-time head coach for this season.

The Dolphins defense bottled up the Raiders’ rushing attack most of the day and kept the wide receivers from making much of an impact. But rookie tight end Brock Bowers was a significant problem. The No. 13 overall pick in April led all players in the game with 13 receptions for 124 receiving yards, and he also recorded a 23-yard touchdown.
