Joy Reid, one of the most recognizable faces on MSNBC, is in the middle of a quiet break-up with the liberal news network. Per CNN, MSNBC has canceled Reid’s evening news show, The ReidOut, and will reportedly replace it with a new series from the station’s Weekend hosts Symone Sanders Townsend,

Before hosting the ReidOut, Reid was a weekend host herself of the show AM Joy going back to 2016. She was promoted to the 7 p.m. EST slot in 2020. Reid is a Harvard graduate who also teaches a class at Syracuse University on media, race, and gender.
