Officers responded to the 6300 block of Leola Way, around 6:30 a.m., where they located a woman with multiple stab wounds. She was transported to the area hospital where she later died from her injuries.

A woman is dead after a fatal stabbing in Sacramento County, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. Around 6:30 a.m., SCSO responded to the 6300 block of Leola Way in South Sacramento. When officers arrived at the scene they discovered a woman with stab wounds.
