When the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, it won't just be an ordinary game for star forward Paul George. An LA native, the Clippers served as George's NBA home for five seasons before he joined the Sixers in free agency on a 4-year $212 million deal.

Paul George, now with the 76ers, said there's no hard feelings with Clippers brass after contract talks didn't pan out: "They were awesome the whole time I was there."

Monday night was the first time this season the Sixers got to as many as 110 points in regulation. (They scored 118 points in overtime against the Indiana Pacers in their only win.) They made 20 3s, they played fast, they had 27 assists. George’s gravity and his ability to create a basketball advantage helped in all of those areas.
