NHL preseason is underway, meaning the Utah Hockey Club will take to the ice for the first time after their move out of Arizona. Their fans may have to wait a little longer for the first game at the Delta Center,

What’s an avalanche to a yeti? The Utah Hockey Club beat the Colorado Avalanche 6-3 on Sunday night. Utah looked shaky at the start, spending seemingly the entire first period in its own zone. But as the game went on, they found their footing and filled the net.

Utah is lucky its power play has found some consistency. The team has scored five power-play goals in the preseason. Tourigny has experimented with different variations of the power play throughout training camp. Sunday night, Sergachev, Guenther, Clayton Keller, Josh Doan and Barrett Hayton composed the first unit — and it looked good.

The Utah Hockey Club formally known as the Arizona Coyotes will look to keep the momentum going after winning their first two games, and coming off. 3-2 OT win over the Kings on Monday. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights will look to bounce back and put on a show for the home crowd after dropping their last game to the Kings on Wednesday.

Delta Center now is the home to the Utah Hockey Club. The team opens its first training camp Thursday after 28 seasons in the Phoenix area as the Coyotes.
