A hiker discovered the body of a 77-year-old man in Logan Canyon, leading to the arrest of the dead man’s son, Utah sheriff’s officials reported. Someone walking in the Franklin Basin area of the canyon north of Salt Lake City found the body Friday, Sept. 27, the Cache County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
