Tiger Woods is not ready to return to golf after the death of his beloved mother, Kultida. Woods, 48, announced his withdrawal from the upcoming Genesis Invitational on Monday, February 10, as he continues to grieve.

Tiger Woods abruptly withdrew from the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines on Monday, saying he was still processing the death of his mother. Kultida Woods died unexpectedly last Tuesday at the age of 80.

Woods, the tournament host of the Genesis Invitational, said he hoped to be at Torrey Pines later in the week and “appreciate the continued kindness since my Mom’s passing.”
