What would be a huge surprise is if Apple didn’t hold an M4 Mac event and simply posted press releases in its Newsroom to announce the releases. It’s not totally out of the realm of possibility, since the M4 upgrade isn’t especially remarkable over the M3, and a demo of the Mac mini’s new design won’t take much time.

Perplexity, which kicked off in 2022, is an AI-driven chat and search tool that uses large language models (LLMs) just like OpenAI's ChatGPT. It's known for giving spot-on answers and summarizing web content really well. Plus, users can pick the sources from which Perplexity pulls its info.

Perplexity will launch its Mac app on October 15, featuring a pre-order option. The app offers functionalities similar to its web and mobile versions, including a Pro subscription for enhanced searches.
