The "Bob Does Sports" crew is just one of the many golf influencers roaming around at the WM Phoenix Open this week. Frankie Borelli joined Barstool Sports’ "Fore Play Golf" channel about five years ago and said the PGA Tour’s reception of their channel has changed significantly.

The Phoenix Open’s famously booze-soaked 16th hole is one of the most unique spectacles in golf, where the normally gentile sport lets loose with stadium-style seating, deafening music and an enthusiastic announcer introducing players in a scene that’s more WWE than PGA Tour.

Tournament organizers have adjusted their policies and the grounds to handle huge crowds. "There's no way it's going to be worse."

The sixth on the PGA Tour's 2025 schedule will be carried live on TV by Golf Channel (which you can watch for free on Fubo) all four days. CBS will then pick up live coverage of the third and final rounds. There is streaming on ESPN+ and Paramount+ as well as the NBC Sports app and CBS Sports app.

Alex Smalley came to TPC Scottsdale having made the cut 59 times in 102 PGA Tour appearances. A tour pro since 2022, he's yet to win a tournament but has been runner-up twice, finished in the top five five times and has nine top-10 finishes.
