The Allegiant Travel Company is adding two Florida destinations to its flights out of the Akron-Canton Airport starting next year.

GREEN, Ohio – Allegiant Air is adding two new routes to popular Florida destinations from the Akron-Canton Airport, both starting in May. New flights to Jacksonville, Florida, will launch May 23 and will run Fridays and Mondays through early September.

Allegiant Travel Company recently announced new routes from Blue Grass Airport in Lexington that includes a one-way flight to Sarasota, Florida for $59 beginning in April 2025.

The flight will take off Friday at 3:55 p.m. with a celebration at the gate for first-flight passengers, CVG officials said in a release Thursday.

A nonstop flight will be connecting Albany with another city in Florida. Discount carrier Allegiant announced Tuesday it will offer a direct flight between Albany International Airport and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport starting Feb. 14. The airport is located just south of Tampa Bay on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Allegiant Airlines will begin services out of Colorado Springs and launch new Denver routes next year, the airline said Tuesday.
