Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus said on Sunday that the interim government will seek the extradition of deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina, who fled to India after the fall of her government following a mass protest movement in August.

Bangladesh interim govt head Muhammad Yunus addressed the nation on the completion of 100 days of his administration. He said that the govt is also investigating incidents of violence against minorities.

In a televised address to the nation on his first 100 days in office, Bangladesh's interim leader and Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus said that the interim government will try those responsible including Hasina for hundreds of deaths during the student-led uprising that ended her 15-year rule.

Muhammad Yunus said that not only the deaths in the uprising but all other violations of human rights, including alleged enforced disappearances while Hasina was in power, would be investigated.
