CNN requests federal court to handle Mark Robinson's defamation case
RALEIGH, N.C. — A recent court filing by CNN shows it wants Mark Robinson's defamation lawsuit against the cable news network to be moved from state to federal court. CNN filed a Notice of Removal on November 15 requesting the case be moved from Wake County Superior Court to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
