Mumbai: Actress Pooja Hegde, who starred alongside Vijay in the 2022 film Beast, will share the screen with him again in the upcoming film tentatively titled Thalapathy 69. The announcement was made by KVN Productions on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

We had previously reported that Vijay is teaming up with filmmaker H Vinoth for his next film, which will be his last outing before he gets into full-time politics. Now, the makers of the film, tentatively called Thalapathy 69, have announced that Pooja Hegde has joined the cast of the film.

Actor Bobby Deol officially joined Thalapathy Vijay's last film, directed by H Vinoth, on Tuesday, October 1. While nothing about his character was revealed in the announcement, he is reportedly playing the main villain in the film.

Bobby Deol is all set to star alongside Thalapathy Vijay in Thalapathy 69. This will mark the actor's second Tamil project after Kanguva where he will share the screen with Suriya.

The film's pooja is being planned to happen on October 4, 2024 and the first schedule of shooting is set to begin from October 5, 2024.

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, the project helmed by H Vinoth, has already been announced as the final film in Vijay’s acting career.
