According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has requested a trade. The team is expected to entertain the idea of dealing Metcalf, who has one year remaining on his current contract and would like a new one .
Metcalf, 27, has spent his entire pro career in Seattle, where he established himself as one of the league’s most durable and physical receivers.

With Tee Higgins getting franchise tagged by the Cincinnati Bengals again, that leaves Chris Godwin as arguably the top option at wide receiver in free agency. This isn't the first time the Patriots have been linked to Godwin, but reports indicate that they will be going all-in on him now that Higgins is no longer available.
