The Lady Raiders held off Kansas 57-53 on Wednesday in the opening round of the Big 12 Tournament at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri. It is the second year in a row Tech has won a conference tournament game, after no such wins in coach Krista Gerlich's first three seasons.

The Kansas Jayhawks and Texas Tech Red Raiders square off in the Big 12 Tournament. The teams square off Wednesday for the first time this season.
