A Bering Air Cessna 208 Caravan carrying 10 people went missing over Alaska on Thursday afternoon while flying to Nome.
Searchers in a helicopter found the wreckage of the single-engine plane on sea ice 12 miles offshore, according to the Coast Guard said.
A small commuter plane that crashed in western Alaska on its way to the hub community of Nome was located Friday on sea ice and all 10 people on board died, authorities said.
