South Korean musician Koo Jun-yup, also known as DJ Koo, has spoken out for the first time since his wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, died of pneumonia at the age of 48 on Feb 2.

Barbie Hsu’s husband, DJ Koo, has broken his silence as he grieves his wife's untimely death. The South Korean rapper and former member of dance duo Clon posted a statement on Instagram in both Chinese and Korean. “My angel went back to heaven on February 2, 2025,” DJ Koo, whose real name is Koo Jun Yup said, according to a translation.
