There is a new No. 1 team in the updated Coaches Poll. Following its win over Arkansas and losses by Auburn and Duke, Alabama jumped two spots to become the new No. 1 ranked team in the updated poll released Monday.

With just over three weeks left in the regular season, the Arizona Wildcats are back among the college basketball elite. After starting the season ranked No. 9 in the country in the Coaches Poll, the Wildcats tumbled from the rankings.

After Alabama's win on Tuesday night, head coach Nate Oats made his feelings clear about the nation's best team, per Nick Kelly. "We'll see Saturday who's the best team in the country," Oats said. "Auburn's the best team in the country right now."

Auburn retained its spot at No. 1 in the AP Top 25 men's college basketball poll Monday despite its first loss in SEC play this weekend but paid the price by losing its unanimous status among voters.
