SEATTLE — The parent of one of the two young referees assaulted during a youth hockey game at the Kraken Community Iceplex says their son is just 12 years old, not 13 as initially reported.

The two youth hockey referees who were pushed to the ice while officiating a game Sunday at the Kraken Ice Complex will be invited to a Kraken game.

A Washington state man is accused of assaulting two teenage referees during his son's youth hockey game in an "unprovoked" attack, according to law enforcement.

The incident was captured on camera during a Sunday morning game at the Kraken Community Iceplex, which shows a man walking onto the rink during a game and pushing two referees so
