In an absolutely electric scene at Highmark Stadium, the Buffalo Bills handed the Chiefs their first loss of the season. And while Kansas City showed signs of rallying in the fourth quarter, it was Allen who closed the door with his touchdown run to stretch the game to two possessions.

After Mahomes threw another pick to seal the Chiefs' fate, the two superstar quarterbacks met at midfield for a postgame exchange . Mahomes had a five-word message to Allen that seemed to promise the two will see each other in the playoffs: "We'll do it again, baby."

And leave it to the Buffalo Bills, of all teams, to settle the issue behind their remarkable quarterback.  Allen bolted from the pocket on a fourth-down play with just over two minutes on the clock and didn’t stop until he delivered a finishing blow with a 26-yard touchdown run that essentially sealed the 30-21 verdict in a thriller at Highmark Stadium.
