A new wildfire was reported today at 2:07 p.m. in San Bernardino County. Clark Fire has been burning on private land. There is no update on the containment progress of the fire and its cause has yet to be determined.

A person broke into the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter, cut the locks on the dog cages, then released the animals. One suspect has been arrested, but one of the dogs is still missing.

Someone wielding bolt cutters cut open the locks to kennels at the city facility. One dog remained missing Friday. A woman is under investigation.

A woman was caught on camera breaking into an animal shelter in the Inland Empire and running off with more than a dozen dogs. Staff said the woman broke into the shelter Wednesday morning, releasing 20 of the 300 dogs inside the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter.
