One of the best games of the week will be the "Sunday Night Football" showdown between the NFC-leading Detroit Lions (7-1) at the Houston Texans (6-3).
They signed Laremy Tunsil, Tytus Howard and Shaq Mason to extensions over the past three offseasons and invested early draft picks on Juice Scruggs, Kenyon Green and Blake Fisher. The hope was that those players, given more time, would become what the Texans thought they could be when they drafted them.
