Rutgers University upsets New Jersey politicians for cancelling a scheduled DEI conference following Trump's executive orders.

The Rutgers University Center for Minority Serving Institutions canceled an upcoming event, citing President Donald Trump’s recent executive orders banning “diversity, equity, and inclusion” initiatives in federally funded programs.

Rutgers as an institution has fostered a bully culture for a few years now," said Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, both took to X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday to denounce the university's decision.
