Muhammad Yunus seeks extradition of Sheikh Hasina from India, promising electoral reforms and new election in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh’s interim leader and Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus said Sunday that his administration will seek the extradition of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from India, where has been in exile since fleeing a mass uprising in August.

Bangladesh interim govt head Muhammad Yunus addressed the nation on the completion of 100 days of his administration. He said that the govt is also investigating incidents of violence against minorities.

Bangladesh's interim government chief advisor Muhammad Yunus on Sunday said that the new regime will seek the extradition of exiled former prime minister Sheikh Hasina from India. Hasina fled to India on August 5 after protests against her regime escalated.
