NORTH CAROLINA (WWAY) — Girl Scout Cookie Season kicks off this Saturday, January 18, and runs through March 9, 2025.

Girl Scout Cookie season has started and this will be the final year to purchase two types of cookies. The 2025 season will provide the full spread of popular flavors, including Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs and more.

"It's one of our four pillars, right? Entrepreneurship. So Girl Scouts learn everything there is to learn about entrepreneurship through selling cookies."

Local Girl Scout board member and President of Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital, Anne Baum, joined us in the studio, along with Allentown girl scouts Nora and Niya.

The Girl Scouts plan to retire Girl Scout S’mores and Toast-Yay! cookie flavors at the end of the 2025 season. This year's cookie lineup includes all of the classics, including Thin Mints, and a number of other flavors: A $6 box of Girl Scout cookies can either be purchased online, or in-person at cookie booths across the country.

It's that time of the year again, as Girl Scout troops begin to sell their famous cookies. FOX 10's Dominique Newland has more on this year's offerings.
