Taking a brief break from the enchanted land of Oz, Erivo visited “ Jimmy Kimmel Live ” on Tuesday. During the segment, Kimmel asked about the actor’s legendary “ war cry ” riff from the film’s hit song, “Defying Gravity.” Kimmel was curious if fans imitate the “war cry” at her.

The first show is sold out and was announced a day before Erivo earned an Oscar nomination for best actress for her work in "Wicked." That likely added to the rush for tickets. Erivo has previously been nominated for actress and original song, both for the film "Harriet."
