2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 Special Edition Goes to Boot Camp
Jeep is celebrating its past with a new special edition called the Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 that lets owners feel like they’re on a WWII-era military base in the U.S. However, since the Americans hadn’t yet decided what side of the fight they wanted to be on, we should be more precise and simply call this an homage to the 1941 Willys MB, the rugged off-roader that launched the Jeep legacy. The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 features an olive drab exterior paint colour that’s inspired by the military. The hue extends beyond the body panels and onto the 17-inch steel wheels that are exclusive to this special edition model and are wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires. To complete the look, the model features period-correct drab blue decals on the hood and elsewhere. Inside, the model gets tan Heritage cloth upholstery on the seats and olive drab fabric dashboard inserts. It also gets a special “’41” medallion on top of the shift knob. Buyers will be able to pick from a body-colour hardtop or an exclusive tan soft top. Finally, the model will be equipped with steel bumpers and a locking rear differential. The special edition is exclusively based on the 4xe model, meaning it’s powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0L turbocharged engine with two electric motors. That means that, unlike the original 1941 Willys MB, the new model will be capable of driving on electric power alone for up to 35 km. Prices for the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 will start at $72,290 (including destination charge). The model is expected to hit Canadian showrooms before the end of 2024.
