(WKBN) – Craft retailer JOANN filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the second time last month and just this past week, it was announced the retailer would possibly be laying off almost 1,000 Ohio-based employees.
Joann to lay off over 200 warehouse employees in Visalia, California
According to two Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) notices received Wednesday by the California Employment Development Department, the company reported it would lay off 209 employees at its distribution center in Visalia. The layoffs are expected to begin on March 30.
