Commissioner Raquel Regalado says there's plenty to tackle-- like the budget, housing, resilience and the new Sheriff's Office. But she says now is not the time to be giving out money, now is the time to tighten the belt with so many people at-risk of losing their homes.

After nearly two years of Miami Dade County considering locations for its new billion-dollar incinerator, the county is going back to the drawing board.

Broward residents, along with the mayors of Miramar and Doral, showed up at county hall to ensure their voices were heard.

Morgan Rynor reports the meeting comes after Mayor Daniella Levine Cava recommended that plans to build a new incinerator be scrapped.
