Romania’s soccer federation has expressed its disappointment at what it calls “premeditated” behavior by Kosovo's team in Friday night’s abandoned match in the Nations League.

The Romanian and Kosovan football federations face disciplinary proceedings from Uefa after the Nations League match in Bucharest was abandoned.

The Nations League match between these two sides in Bucharest on Friday witnessed plenty of crowd trouble and was ultimately abandoned, unlike the France-Israel game in Paris that was met with massive protests but ultimately ended in a goalless draw.

A Nations League game between Romania and Kosovo in Bucharest was suspended on Friday in injury time after fans in the crowd shouted "Serbia!".

The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) said it had repeatedly warned European soccer's governing body UEFA about potential provocation from Romania fans ahead of Friday's Nations League match, which was abandoned when Kosovo's players walked off.
