A large fire broke out at the old Blue Heron paper mill on Main Street in Oregon City early Thursday morning. A plume of smoke could be seen in the area. Dozens of emergency units responded to the fire,

At about 3:46 a.m., Clackamas Fire crews were called out to a fire at 419 Main Street. The fire is on the Blue Heron property, which is an abandoned paper mill now owned by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde as part of their reclaiming of ancestral homelands. A second alarm has been called to bring in more resources.
