Dec 30, 2024 · After his death, Mufasa's spirit appears to Simba as a ghostly vision in the sky. This apparition inspires Simba to accept his responsibilities and reclaim his place as king.

His death forces Simba into exile, but Mufasa's ghost later appears to an adult Simba, urging him to return home and confront his responsibilities as his rightful heir. Mufasa was voiced by actor James Earl Jones.
